*insert expletive*

My trusty laptop has died. It was working on Sunday night, as I sat in the beanbag and pretended to do homework. Now it turns on, gets to a different point in the start up each time and says no, I can go no further and freezes. The only way to fix this is to force shutdown. My hard drive has turned up its toes and gone to HD heaven.

Aaw my little laptop that has been so very good to me, who has travelled the world with me, that still has its annoying UK plugs! R.I.P.

I’m so glad I purchased my new desktop PC recently, however it doesn’t beat lying in bed with the laptop, or sitting in the beanbag with the laptop or basking in the sun… you get the picture. I’m going to be anchored to one point, I have no where to run when my annoying flatmate is yammering at me.

  1. We are about to buy our first laptop. But I won’t be using it except when we are on holidays.I am laptop ignorant. Any advice Fenz?

  2. it depends on what you’re after… mine was an ASUS and it has served me extremely well. I’ve never had a blue screen of death or any other problems for that matter. I think it’s all personal preference really, just make sure you get something powerful enough for what you need.

  3. Eeeeep, that’s not good. I had something similar with blue and black with pink striped screens of death and coming to life and dying at will. A new motherboard sorted it out.
