The lives of others

I came across this blog, which is a translation of a Japanese medical aid worker who helped after the earthquake and tsunami.  If you have the time, please read it.  It’s both heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once.
I’m loving this weird chilly weather we’re having.  It’s currently pissing down.  Earlier today I had to drive to another of our offices and then home and both times it hailed madly.  Brilliant!  There’s nothing better however, than coming home and snuggling with TheMoo in front of the heater.  She’s ever so cuddly in this cold.
I had my first client assessment this week and I also have my client list, so I will make contact with them by the end of the week.  This is exciting and daunting.  But I can’t wait.
Still ultra tired but this soon will pass.

  1. I will read it tomorrow. I hope you received a lecture about burn out. You may not be working in the highest stress area, but you are getting up there.

  2. Starting a new new job is always exhausting, all the adrenalin is pumping! Hopefully, once you settle into a more familiar routine, your energy levels will return back to where they need to be.Our weather is all out of whack over here, too. We had a spectacular thunder and lightening show the other night, the glen took a direct hit. I'll peek into that blog now..

  3. Take it easy, you're not Wonderwoman yet. Tiredness has a way of building up and bang, you're flat.
