Photo A Day – April 02 – Colour

I chose RED.  Two reasons. The first was because I had an appointment in the Red Clinic today, but I only managed to get a shit photo because I was being lazy. Well and because for once I didn’t have to wait an hour and a half and I was in ON TIME.  I know right, I should buy a tattslotto ticket! The second reason was because I love the colour red. I’m not sure if it’s my favourite, but I do seem to have a lot of red.
I have completed a proper photo, but I have NEWS.  And the news is good.  I saw the big wig specialist today, he with no bedside manner.  He made a joke and I laughed!  Then he told me that today was the day to remove me of my tube and bag.  HALLELUJAH.  I’ve had that thing since my surgery in January, I was only meant to have it for A COUPLE OF WEEKS.  Yeh. Months more like.  But no more.  Today two nurses removed me of my little alien baggie and drainage tube, then cauterised my granuloma with silver nitrate.  It didn’t hurt at the time, but it hurts now! Ha ha.  So I go back in 3 weeks for a check up, then they schedule my surgery to have my liver stent removed.  Oh no, of course it’s not over!  Anyway, fingers crossed for more uneventful times ahead.
Now onto my RED picture.  I did a collage coz I was feeling fancy like that.

Oh and probably the most exciting news was that my sister and her partner got engaged on the weekend. No surprises there but it’s lovely.  She’s keen not to have a big wedding, in fact she’s wishing they’d eloped in South Africa! Hah. Give it a few months and I’m sure she’ll be very much regretting not doing it!

  4. Good news. I always associate lantern light shades with the smell of dope.

  5. All good news for a change! Happy for you and your Sis and her partner. That first photo is good too, just photoshop out the people on the right.

  6. I find I see red a lot. Especially when people cut me off or tailgate. Regarding your last post. I do like those wall-mounted mirrors that extend out from the wall….except when they actually show my reflection…May you have good health and happy days ahead!!!:^)
